The consumer must retain invoice as proof of battery purchase.
There must be no damage to the battery casing or terminal posts.
Should the battery be replaced within the 24 months warranty period, from date of purchase, the remaining period of the original warranty will apply. E.g. should a battery be replaced on month 18 the remaining 6 months of the original warranty will apply on the replacement battery.
ESB will only honour the warranty for manufacturing defects and faults.
A potential faulty battery within the warranty period must be verified and tested by an ESB accredited dealer. Phone 031 836 6083 for your nearest accredited dealer.
The battery should be tested with approved manufacturer battery diagnostic (conductive) testing equipment.
